A fantastic use of textures really makes this level standout. The textures have
been put together by the author and some have come from
cgtextures.com. A
symmetrical space CTF level with minor asymmetrical features.
Item placement is well weighted. As an example, a Red Armor is located in the
open of e ... keep reading

This month's update brings yet another compact and frantic tourney
release from Julek, but it's not the same old patch mesh overload that
we have come to expect from him over the years. No, we are set outside an
old abandoned factory this time. While it is hard to tell exactly what
this place was once use ... keep reading

Julek's maps
are well known for two things, a penchant for small tourney maps, and the
authors rather unique choice of textures. So, if you liked Julek's previous
releases, then you will not be disappointed by the latest offering.
Decked out in predominately red and white brick, with some yellow and

The map has cartoonish textures in shades of brown. Layout is tight and
boxy. It is very similar to JUL22. This is a blow to
creativity. I feel levels by the same author should not seem to follow
the same mould.
Bots play well and give a little challenge. Action is fast and intense,
given the small ... keep reading

The entire map is in shades of gray. The layout is a little tight, but
provides a lot of circular action. Weapon placement could have be improved. Bots
played a good game.
Overall this is an OK release.
Download this if you like a tight spaced tourney. Some people will enjoy this,
excluding me.

Julek likes to make small tourney maps and this one is on the extremely
small side. It's about as small as you can get and still be playable.
The design reminds me of House of Chthon (e1m7) from Quake1, but on a smaller
scale. Two levels, open in the middle (no lava or huge monster there),
and a jump pa ... keep reading

This is the second released map from the author, and he obviously likes
little tourney maps with simple color schemes. The readme says DM- up
to 3 ppl (he's a true sadist). Any more than 2 people and this becomes
a telefragging frenzy (there are 4 teleporters). This also makes it
difficult to track dow ... keep reading

This is the first released map from the author, and its a sweet little tourney
map. Simply stated: the map forms the shape of the number 88. The second 8 is
a level higher than the first. And only half of the lower 8 is there, so you
could think of the level as an L-shape of 3 circles. A couple one-way ... keep reading
