A small, fun tourney map, that really takes off in 3 player FFA. An interesting layout, with a slightly less used second floor concealing the Plasma Gun and some short-term snipe spots. The level has good flow and easy access to almost all points of the map. The main action seemed to take place in the Rocket Launcher/Rail Gun room and the Lightning Gun room. Using the slime to provide green lighting indoors gives a good feel to the level, as does the damaged ground outdoors. A few very minor texture misalignments, and a few odd texture choices, don't really detract much from this map. Anarki, the bot chosen by wviperw for this map, plays it very well.

A good map, that I will be keeping around for small LANS and a quick botmatch.

I've just worked out why ppl sometimes post the same comment twice :). Wanted to give rating and tried to stop comment being posted as I forgot the first time, sadly it posted it anyway after I pressed stop. Oops, sorry.

I like this map, assholio why would you post a half-assed comment like that? Viper was just pointing out why it wasn't as fine tuned as it could have been. LG/SG area I think could do with something else there as I don't tend to use that part of the map if I can avoid it. It's still fun to play tho' and I look forward to future maps. :)

LG/SG area I think could do with something else there as I don't tend to use that part of the map if I can avoid it. It's still fun to play tho' and I look forward to future maps. :)

I Like this map a lot! Every now and then I want a quick frag to 20, this is the map I go to. Anarki is good as far as bots go. Thanks for this map I constantly turn ro ir for a "quicky". Later, Rude Boy

okay, thanks for elaborating elendeNATTER. Thats perfectly fine that its boring to you. In fact, its boring to me too, since I made the map. Its just that when people go into the comments area, and see someone saying how boring it is, they aren't likely to DL it. But oh well.

And elende, check out my website, and check out either wvwq3dm2, or the beta of wvwq3dm3. Maybe you'll like one of those better. :)

it's a personal thing .. I said "boring TO ME".. i don'T like it's design - it is boring to me... this is not a question of SIMPLE design and using just a few textures.. for example I love "ik3dm1" ...

and hubsters aerowalk or Vedder's maps... ;0) and this map just doesn't run like ik3dm1.. hehe

and it doesn't really create atmosphere to me.. look at tigger's new Map !... so again "boring TO ME".. maybe other People may find it awesome.. look on the comments...

Oh well. Assholio's name is fitting. Though I dunno about sending it to review sites if it's an 8 hour map, I agree with the idea in general. So long as you guys have fun doing it.

Exelsiore: thank you for actually saying what needs to be changed. I agree w/ you that the scale was too big. But if you'll notice in the readme file, I did it in 8 hours, so I didn't have time to think about scale.

elendeNATTER!: Nothing like unbridled optimism to cheer me up in the morning. :) Could you maybe tell me WHY it was boring? And although the textures are pretty plain and monochromatic, I've never really though of them as boring. Just look at CPM8. Thats where I got the idea.

I want to like this map, really I do. There a two problems as I see it, scale and item placement. For a tourney map it's just way to big, both vertically and horizontally and there's just to much stuff. A smaller, tighter 2nd version of this map could be lots of fun though. Any plans for that?

hmmm to me this is one of the most boring Maps I downloaded recently. BORING textures also..

and not even for More Speed what would have been cool...

the curve in the front is funny for jumps & tricks.. but though not a Keeper at all. :(
