A space floater with three main levels supported by large concrete pillars. There are a few small platforms off the main section which hold some items. The area is huge and plays well as a 3 player DM or 1on1. Texturing is simple and consistent and curves are well used. Only problem was the placement of the personal teleport which could have been located more openly and the smaller platforms were a fraction too small. Bot play was ok, although they wander off the edges a bit too often.

A good one for space map fans

Probably one of the best space maps imo. It`s got a nice minamilist id look which I actually like a lot for some reason. The author also manages to incorporate interesting architecture in a map of this type which is somewhat difficult to accomplish considering the open, simplistic nature of most space maps. Well worth the download and a couple of rounds.

Takkie is spot on with this one. it gets a bit laggy in places and is ugly as all hell but is an absolute treat to play on.

I really like this map...
it's ugly, bots don't play it all that well, i'm not a space map fan...
item placement could have been better.
but still... i like it and i like it very very much.
Don't really know why...
I'll give it a 10!
... maybe because it's so good for instagib and rocket-only games :)

You're welcome, man - I'm a MAJOR space-map junkie. How about this sort of shape/feel, but 6 times the size? I think I'd marry that... :)

OK so I'm a space map junkie and as such maybe not as critical as some would be, but this is one of the most fun maps I've played for a while... it's as though Requiem took The Longest Yard, cut it into kidney-shaped bits, stuck them on top of each other and it worked! Works well with bots ( usually Xaero or Boba Fett ) and has a nice "obscure backwater of the galaxy" feel to it, not quite sure why, but it sort of feels like a space equivalent of The Forgotten Place. Well worth the d/l.

I really loved this level!

Your use of color, shape, proportion and scale are all excellent.

I like the minimalist texture theme. Very appropriately used here.

Occasionally, I felt that the healths could have been better placed, but overall, this map is way above average.

Nice work.

This is one nice level.

Rather minimalistic, but thats cool.

The only real gripe I've got is that it's a bit too big. Scaling it down a little to bring the players closer together would have improved it IMHO.

7/10 from me.

One of my favorite "pure space maps". Very art-deco look that I like a lot, good item placement (getting MH or RA is a long risky jump), and enough cover so that gameplay isn't completely just getting railed as you respawn.

Still, it is just a space map... pardon my biases. :-) I dunno how well it would stand up to serious dueling, but if you feel the need to put some slugs into a few bots give it try.
