I'd love to write a review for you but I am not familiar with Ghosts n goblins so I don't think it would be fair. I don't even know if I am game enough to vote on it. But I will say this: I don't know if the weapon spawning system is related to the game it is based on I am unsure if this works as it is. But kudos on the translation of scroller aesthetics into the q3 format. Impressive! And the pixelated HUD was such a nice touch. In terms of the gameplay v experimental suggestion. Here is how my mind works: I would love to see a scroller that was basically vertical and two dimensional (think pretty much corridor like). An upper area with power-ups and moving platforms. A hazardous lower area with lava (and a railgun somewhere), and a fairly open middle area that allows movement backwards and forward on the map. A teleporter to a hidden easter egg that if you succeed in you get a bfg). And wind tunnels that give speed boosts to other area. A haste hiding in a palm tree. And the sonic skin! Sonic the Hedgehog anyone? Now that would be a translation of a scroller worthy of a 5. It will be years before I would attempt this, if I ever get round to it at all. So the challenge is on: if you're up to it!. Take my idea and run with it! It's all yours! And I would love to see it. Just acknowledge me in the read me file. So having said that: this may have started as a joke! But as a realisation of a scroller wow! As an experimental map - pretty good, but I just told you what is in my mind that would get it a 5. I'm gonna this a 3.5. LOVED the HUD!

Tig knows some pretty cool mapping tricks. I like it!

Great! First time I've discovered the game was pretty sick of the hardness. Arcade versions are also hard and arcadish. Good game, good map!

Well, that was embarrassing. The level shot issue has been corrected. For the record, this is not an issue on Linux . Thanks everyone!

The problem is just the levelshot. Don't save JPGs "progressive" (interlaced).

In all seriousness though, it looks like it would have been a fun map to play if it didn't crash upon being scrolled upon in the start menu. (/map and /devmap don't work on it either)
Also Tig when do you plan on publishing more reviews? A month and a half is a long time IMO.
