I had issues with the central area, and to be honest, I never thought I'd get around to fixing it. The map file was complex AF and the longer I left it, the more out of practice with the editor and Blender 3D I was becoming. Anyway, roll on 2022, I got covid, was on a break from Elden Ring, had laid down all the intrument tracks on a song I was working on, and suddenly was stuck inside with nothing to do for 7 days.
