There is a lot of history behind such a simple map. Made as a test level by Yan (a.k.a. Method) for Quake Zero, the precursor to Quake Live, then somehow ported to back to Q3A unofficially with texture and shader errors. All still playable and very much enjoyable.

Yan's Quake Live work is well known. The main author of: Furious Heights, Ironworks, Siberia, Asylum, Trinity, Quarantine and more.

The release is a double whammy with two versions included. The difference between the two is the location of a teleport exit and the inclusion of a lava pit.

The rusting, overgrown industrial theme is so strong and rich that the many texture alignment issues can be ignored. Gameplay is awesome. The vertical space, the curved walls, jumppads and item placement all come together to make for a goldilocks Tourney or 3 player DM release.

Bots have no issue moving around. Thanks to a hidden botclip over the lava pit (alternative version), they can even reach the Red Armour.

A fantastic release that will be enjoyed by all. Massive thank you to Yan allowing this listing on ..::LvL.

Note: The download includes a patch file that fixes what is possible without decompiling and rebuilding.
