A super-sized version of the excellent Tourney release Asian Nights by thefury reshaped by sst13. The focus has been on keeping the core layout, increasing the size to accommodate a few more players and making it suitable for stock Q3A (the original was CPMA orientated). Even the (minor) controversial graphic from the original has been re-worked.

Was this successful? 100% it was. The original is fantastic for Tourney matches with a high concentration level needed. The remake has freedom and surprise. There is a shift to DeathMatch and Team DM with an increase of fun and enjoyment coming along for the ride. Tourney matches are still well and truly possible.

There are no issues with the item layout and structural changes. All working to balance the map and keep the gameplay moving. There are a few jumps the bots seem to be unable to calculate how to perform, that is the only issue noticed when using them. The bots move about without issues.

If you know the original release well, there is an odd feeling loading this map, kind of like changing from tight fitting exercise gear to baggy pyjamas (pajamas for the Americans).

A very well executed release that should see much action. Grab it and enjoy!
